Privacy Policy
Last updated 30 August 2026
Short version: we collect your email address if you type it into a form, and we count visits to this site so we know whether anyone is reading it. We do not sell your information to anybody, ever. You can ask us to delete it and we will.
Who we are
The Knowledge Jar is operated by Victor Cuevas in Frisco, Texas. When this page says “we” or “us,” that is who it means. You can reach a real person at victor@theknowledgejar.com.
This policy covers www.theknowledgejar.com. It does not cover the separate platforms we link out to, such as our Skool community — those have their own privacy policies, and once you land there you are covered by theirs.
What we collect
| What | When | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Your name and email address | Only if you type them into a form on this site | To email you about The Knowledge Jar |
| Basic usage data — pages viewed, roughly where in the world you are, what kind of device and browser, and which site sent you here | Automatically, on every visit | To find out whether anyone is reading the site and which pages are worth keeping |
We do not ask for, and this site does not collect, payment card details. Membership payments are handled by Skool on their own platform — we never see your card number.
Cookies and analytics
This site uses Google Analytics 4 to count visits. It sets cookies in your browser that give your device a random ID so repeat visits are not counted as new people. We use it to see totals and trends. We do not use it to identify you personally, and we have not connected it to any advertising audience.
If you would rather not be counted, any of these work:
- Install Google’s official Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on
- Block cookies for this site in your browser settings
- Use your browser’s private or incognito window
None of those will break the site. Everything still works.
Services we rely on
Running a website means other companies touch small pieces of this. Here is the complete list of who and why:
| Service | What it does here |
|---|---|
| Vercel | Hosts the site and serves the pages to your browser |
| Google Analytics | Counts visits |
| Google Fonts | Delivers the typefaces this page is set in |
| GoHighLevel (LeadConnector) | Runs the email sign-up form and stores the addresses it collects |
| Skool | Hosts the paid community and processes membership payments, on their own site |
Each of these receives only what it needs to do its job. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with anyone for their own marketing.
Children’s privacy — please read this one
The Knowledge Jar is built for families, and the young people who take part are often under 18. That makes this section matter more here than it does on most sites.
Accounts and sign-ups on this site are for adults. If you are a parent or guardian, you are the one who signs up, you are the one whose email we hold, and you are the one we communicate with. Children take part through you, alongside you.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. The forms on this site are not directed at them, and we ask that children under 13 do not submit any information here. If you believe a child under 13 has given us personal information, email victor@theknowledgejar.com and we will delete it promptly.
If your child participates in the community, please review the settings and the privacy policy on that platform as well — it is a separate service with its own rules.
How long we keep things
We keep your email address until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it. Analytics data is retained on Google’s standard schedule and is not tied to your name.
Your choices
- Unsubscribe — every email we send has an unsubscribe link, and it works immediately.
- Ask for a copy of what we hold about you.
- Ask us to delete it. Email us and we will, and we will confirm when it is done.
- Opt out of analytics using any of the methods above.
You do not need a legal reason and you do not need to explain yourself. Just ask: victor@theknowledgejar.com.
Changes to this policy
If we change how any of this works, we will update this page and change the date at the top. If the change is significant, we will say so in an email rather than quietly editing the page.
